Bulletin No. 19/20-013
Date: December 12, 2019
To: All ISR Oval / Enduro Racing Affiliates
The F-III class had a great debut in Beausejour! The builds look great and very professional.
Here are some items that builders will need to be aware of for future builds.
- Weight will be 450 pounds after the race. No tolerance factors allowed.
- 450 Pounds minimum. Effective Jan 1, 2020.
- Running boards on any Super Stock sled that uses either extruded or fabricated running board outer reinforcement will be required to retain the reinforcement component. If interference with fuel or lube tanks is encountered, the extrusion/ fabricated component may be removed in that area only. Protrusions (boot grippers) on the component may be removed or defeated for driver safety.
- Running boards that do not have fuel or lube tanks mounted will be required to carry the extrusion/fabricated component to a point 8 inches behind (to the rear of) the rear suspension mount bolt holes.
- Running board reinforcement panels, (fishbones) must remain. Where the reinforcement panel/fishbone design does not allow proper fitment of tanks, or side bolster, that area may be removed. Any area of “usable footrest”, must have that portion of the reinforcement panel in place.
- Taillights clarification: Taillights must be OEM, which is clarified to mean any OEM taillight that is commercially available. They will not have to be OEM for the brand any longer.
- Taillights are subject to tech inspector’s decision as to visibility potential. Builders are advised to use the brightest light available. The speeds travelled and snow dust at time require good visibility.
- Protective bumpers/guards around taillights will be allowed but must not restrict visibility to the sides or rear of the sled.
- From a point 8 inches behind the rear suspension rear mounting point, design and appearance of the sled is proprietary to the builder. Tunnel enclosure must meet all safety standards.
Further updates will be announced as needed.
