2019 ProStar Cup Tour Champion

As the 2019 season wrapped up at the prestigious USSA PROSTAR CUP TOUR, Gunnar Sterne emerged victorious after the nine-race tour ended and all the results were tabulated. Gunnar’s winning ways of past seasons did not leave him for 2019. As a multi time past winner of the preceding seasons, Gunnar never missed a beat, when the new USSA ProStar Cup Tour was formed.

The 220 teams top notch equipment along with one of the best support crews in the sport, continued where they had left off in 2018. By the second event of the season, Gunnar had a strong lead. The balance of the events continued his outstanding driving efforts, while the team, led by Mike Houle and Shawn Sterne continued to apply the vast knowledge of the technical portions of the sport.

Always on vibrant, well maintained equipment, Gunnar was always a force to be reckoned with at any race track when he was on the ice.

Followed by an impressive group of fans, both in person at the events, but even more so in his vast media presence, Gunnar made his and the Team’s presence known across North America.

Gunnar has participated in the sport of ice oval racing for many years, starting as a Junior rider with many wins, and now taking those winning ways into several years of highly competitive Champ racing. Gunnar continues to support many facets of the sport and works with young drivers and various charities to increase the presence of the sport in North America.
