Inaugural Ice Oval Sprint World Cup in Wausau, WI

The inaugural Ice Oval Sprint World Cup in Wausau, WI, scheduled for January 27-29, 2023 is setting the Pro Champ ice oval class on fire. Racer interest has never been higher for the Wausau facility and sponsor/spectator activity is reaching new levels. Event details are noted below:
- Weekend race format is Friday night time trials for the Sprint World Cup and a limited race program. Saturday is a full race day featuring the ProStar Cup Tour. Sunday is a full race day with the inaugural Ice Oval Sprint World Cup.
- Admission is $15 per day or $25 for the weekend. Admission will be a wrist band that MUST be worn on the wrist. Bands on clothing, jackets, gloves, etc will not be honored. Wrist band is a WRIST band.
- Friday night is free admission with a nonperishable food item for the Wausau are food bank or personal care items for the Wausau are homeless community.
- A limited number of weekend Hot Seats are available. Cost is $125 for the seat, and it includes your weekend admission ticket. Hot Seats are only available on our website ussaprostar.com
- Saturday’s ProStar Cup purse is $5000. The Sunday Sprint World Cup purse is already in excess of $15,000. Sponsors of the Sprint World Cup include BIA of Michigan; Beyer Enterprises; Centerpoint Marine of Stevens Point; Meyer Yamaha; Palms Restaurant; MADA Custom Clothing and Tom Gimmer.
- The race weekend will be available via live stream at ussaprostar.tv. Live stream packages are being finalized and will be available shortly for purchase.
- As a bonus, the mid Wisconsin motorcycle ice racers will be in attendance racing on the fast Wausau facility.
- A full program of USSA classes will also be featured throughout the weekend including Outlaw 600, F-500, Junior Sprint, Sportsman 600 and more.
